Objective
The students 
 - understand graphic production processes and the manufacturing stages of printed products through practical examples 
 - master the basics of typography (layout of a printed publication) and understand its significance for different printed products
 - master the techniques of content and layout production in the phases preceding printing
 - understand the techniques and opportunities of digital printing
 - understand the printing technique of electrophotography and the materials used in it

Excellent 5: The student knows comprehensively the processes of graphics production and he (she) has a versatile mastering of the software tools. He (she) can creatively design and realize a visually high quality press product and he (she) understands the colour management.
 Very good 4: The student knows well the processes of graphics production and he (she) has a versatile mastering of the software tools. He (she) can design and realize a visually high quality press product and he (she) understands the colour management
 Good 3: The student knows the processes of graphics production and masters the software tools. He (she) can design and realize a press product and he (she) knows the colour management. 
 Satisfactory 2: The student can design and realize a press product using software tools and he (she) knows the basics of colour management. 
 Sufficient 1: The student can design and realize a simple press product using software tools and he (she) knows the basics of colour management.
