Purpose
After completing this course, you will be able to safely treat an acute patient at different stages of the care path.

Content
Clinical training in units in accordance with the above acute nursing objectives.
Qualifications
Acute and perioperative nursing theory (PBL assigments and exam)
Orientation practice exam
Drug calculation
Pharmacology C
Medical studies (anesthesiology, surgery)
Acute and perioperative nursing related Finnish language
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
You recognize when a patient needs acute care and identify their needs.
You assess the patient’s condition and make decisions.
You give essential nursing care in an acute situation, ensuring patient safety.
You monitor the patient and carry out nursing interventions.
You document patient care correctly.
Your Finnish language skills improve during clinical training.
