Objective

The course is designed to be completed alongside the course TZ00CY18 Fundamentals of Mathematics in Logistics. It provides you with support for your studies and guided practice to help you master the content of the Fundamentals of Mathematics in Logistics course.

Content

In this course, you will gain confidence in calculation routines. You will practise and strengthen your skills in reading and writing mathematical notations, as well as in forming and simplifying expressions, solving equations, performing percentage calculations, and applying trigonometry.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

You are familiar with the most common mathematical notations. You can form and simplify simple expressions and solve basic equations and systems of equations. You master basic percentage calculations and the fundamentals of trigonometry in a right-angled triangle.
