    The object of the course
    After completing this course, you will have comprehensive understanding of leadership and management. The purpose is to provoke interest towards leadership and management studies and leadership work.

    You understand the significance of leadership and management. You are familiar with the basic concepts describing leadership and management and the operation of an organisation.     You are able to explain the significance of leadership and management to organisations. You are able to utilise the basic concepts describing leadership and management and the operation of an organisation. You understand theories of leadership and future leadership trends. You understand your capabilities and motivation for leadership work. You are able to work in a team in a collaborative and goal-oriented way.

    You are able to utilise the basic concepts describing leadership and management and the operation of an organisation. You are able to apply theories of leadership and future leadership trends in the assessment of your own management capabilities. You take responsibility for the team’s activities and you know how to organise the team's goal-oriented activities.

    The teaching and learning during the course will proceed by themes online-studies.

    Personal feedback and the grade for the course is based on the competence shown in the final personal assignment and self-assessment.

    A personal learning assignment that is processed throughout the duration of the course (theme assignments).
    At the end of the course, personal feedback will be given on the personal learning assignment in connection with the assessment.

    Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

    The theme-specific learning assignments must be completed and returned during the course.
    Peer discussions must be attended to in accordance with the course timetable.
    The personal learning assignment is scheduled to be retuned 21.5.2021.
    The personal portfolio must be returned by 21 May 2021.
    The retake of the personal portfolio is possible on 18 June 2021 and 30 June 2021.

    Theme-specific learning assignments, preparing for webinars/online discussion 4*10 h = 40 h

    Content scheduling

    During the course, theme-specific introductions during webinar sessions, independent and study and group discussions will alternate. Additionally, personal learning assignments will be completed throughout the duration of the course.
