In this course you will study the basis of evidence based occupational therapy and it's process.

Learning outcomes of the course
After the course you will know the basis of your own field of expertise and you are able to consider how it can be applied in practical work. You will understand and be able to explain the phases of evidence based occupational therapy. You will be able to search for current information and research about occupational therapy. You are able to evaluate the quality of the evidence.

Content

In this course you will familiarize yourself with evidence based occupational therapy and it's process. What does evidence based mean and why it is a critical part of occupational therapist's work? You will study research methodology and get acquainted with how to search, read and review research literature as well as how to implement it into practice. You will learn about good conducts and current guidelines about occupational therapy and browse scientific journals such as AJOT and SJOT.
