Objective

Preventive maintenance and its planning are an important part of the operations of a modern production plant. NDT -methods are part of preventive maintenance methods. NDT -methods can also be utilized in production and manufacturing quality management.

In this course, you will learn to identify NDT methods that can be applied in industrial maintenance. You will deepen your knowledge of specific NDT methods of your choice. You will learn to analyze the application of NDT methods in maintenance in a different industry (eg energy production or distribution, engineering, paper and / or pulp production or some other industry).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved: The student is familiar with the most used NDT methods in industry. The student masters the basics and applicability of the chosen NDT methods in various maintained objects. The student is able to apply the above methods in the chosen field of industry.

Failed: The student's competence does not meet the requirements for approved performance.
