Objectives

Familiarize yourself with the valves and actuators used in hydraulics and their operation. Studying in this course requires basic knowledge in the field of technology and this course enables more in-depth study of the topic in other courses.

Knowledge and understanding: You are familiar with the theory of hydraulics and have key knowledge of basic hydraulic equipment solutions and the various application areas of hydraulics. You can use mathematics and physics to describe the phenomena in hydraulic technology and to solve problems.

Content

Basics of hydraulics. Hydraulic actuators, pressure valves, flow valves and directional control valves. Hydraulic system design and simulation.
