    Learning outcomes of the course
    The students can define, in a reasonable way, the dimensioning and structural requirements of optimal equipment suitable for a transport considering an effective and economical use and they can define the necessary auxiliary devices and accessories.
    Prerequisites and co-requisites
    The students know the basics of mechanics and they are familiar with the behavior and characteristics of the most common structural materials and they are able to analyze mechanical systems. They know also the operation principles of the common systems in road transports and how to utilize their possibilities and behavior from the user’s viewpoint.

    Assessment criteria - grade 1 and 2
    Satisfactory (1): Student knows all the things described in the learning objectives, but has difficulty utilizing this knowledge in practical situations.

    Fair (2): Student knows all the things described in the learning objectives and is able to utilize this information in practical situations.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3 and 4
    Good (3): Student understands all the things described in the learning objectives and can utilize this information in practical situations.

    Very Good (4): Student masters almost all the things described in the learning objectives and is able to apply the skills he / she has learned in practical situations.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    Excellent (5): Student masters all the things described in the learning objectives and is able to apply the skills he / she has learned in practical situations in an innovative manner.
