    Learning outcomes of the course
    The object of the course
Utilization of automation plays an important role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of internal logistics. The automation market is expected to triple in logistics field between 2020 and 2027. After this course you will understand the importance, potential and applications of automation in internal logistics. You will also be able to design an automation system and analyze the benefits and weaknesses of the used technologies. In addition, you will be able to compare the technologies you are using with simulation.

    Course competences
This course develops and assesses the following competences: Internal logistics, Knowledge and understanding (EA-KW), Engineering practice (EA-EC) and communication and team work.

The learning objectives of the course
You understand the applications of the technologies used to automate internal logistics and can choose the most appropriate technologies for your application. You will be able to compare solutions using simulation and you will understand what kind of process automation is suitable for. You will be able to work as a member of a group, participate in making learning assignments and reporting, and independently search for material.
