         09.01.2023 – 21.05.2023,  5 cr  (TSA22KMA) — Face-to-face, Online learning +-
    Learning outcomes of the course
You will get acquainted with the concepts of functional safety and learn what it means in practice as part of automation engineering at different stages of design. Studying in this course requires a little deeper knowledge of automation, and you will need to learn what you learn here in the other courses in this module.

    EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You will recognize the different stages of automation engineering and understand the strong interdependencies between them. You have a clear view of what information is available at each stage of the design and what information is produced at each stage. You know the key documents and are able to use them to make automation engineering in accordance with the principles of functional safety.

    EUR-ACE MULTIDISCIPLINARY EXPERTISE
You understand the multidimensionality of automation design across different design interfaces and understand how it affects issues related to personal safety, the environment and the economy, as well as the great responsibility of the designer in these. You recognize the industry is constantly evolving and changing and you are ready to evolve with it.
