• Controlled Electric Motor Drives (TSASS530-3003),
         09.01.2023 – 28.04.2023,  5 cr  (TSA21KMB) — Face-to-face, Online learning +-
    Learning outcomes of the course
You will get to know the operating and control principles of electric motor drives. Studying in this course requires previously acquired basic skills in electrical engineering and electronics. After completing this course, you will be able to plan electric motor drives.

    EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You have knowledge of electric motor drives. You master the basics of power electronics used in converters, such as the structures and operating principles of commutated rectifiers and inverters. You are familiar with the components and equipment involved in electrical operation. You have the ability to dimension the components of constant speed and adjustable drives for various applications such as e.g. pump, fan, conveyor and line drives. You are familiar with the bus solutions used in the control. You know the most common methods of protection and control of electric drives. You have the ability to parameterize and configure electrical drive devices. You are familiar with the latest technologies used in electric drives and will be able to follow the development of this field in the future.
