Tavoitteet

The student
• knows and understands the basic concepts of multicultural work
• knows how the culture and identity effects to the integration process
• is able to analyze their own work in a cultural point of view
• is able to apply the theoretical knowledge to the practice when supporting integration, participation and well-being of immigrants
• is able to use culturally sensitive counselling and work orientation
• know the legislation and immigration services and is able to guide the client based on the legislation

• The essential concepts of Immigration
• The meaning of the culture and identity in integration process
• Integration and acculturation process to a new country and to a new culture; challenges in integration process
