Objective

The student
- understands the significance of innovation thinking that encourages participation for his/her own work and work community
- can evaluate the contents and functioning of existing services and improve future development needs in a client-oriented way
- possesses tools that can be used to analyse the problematics of different service situations and environments and to describe the associated causal relationships
- can direct the development process of a multidisciplinary team using service design and project management methods

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The learning outcomes of individual courses are assessed in relation to the objectives of the course concerned. Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, level 7.

The student has mastered, on an adequate level, some of the basics and tools of project management and design thinking. The student recognises some of the construction and maintenance mechanisms of project management and design thinking. The student can describe the choices involved in project management and design thinking.

2 (Satisfactory)
The student has mastered, on a satisfactory level, the basics of project management and design thinking, and can apply their tools and methods on a basic level in a working life-oriented way. The student recognises some of the systematics and development mechanisms of project management and design thinking. The student recognises the decision-making involved in project management and design thinking that supports successful activities in project work and development.

3 (Good)
The student has mastered, on a good level, the basics of project management and design thinking, and can apply their tools and methods in a working life-oriented way in development work. The student recognises the key maintenance and systematics mechanisms of project management and design thinking and can apply them in his/her work. The student has mastered the decision-making involved in project management and design thinking that supports successful activities in project work and development.

4 (Very good)
The student has mastered, on a very good level, the basics of project management and design thinking, and can apply their tools and methods in a working life-oriented way in development work. The student knows the key maintenance and systematics mechanisms of project management and design thinking and can apply them in his/her work. The student has mastered, on a very good level, the decision-making involved in project management and design thinking that supports successful activities in project work and development.
