Content scheduling
During the course theme-specific lectures, indivisual learning assignments, interactive and collaborative classroom session, group work, peer review and self-assessment will alternate.
Objective
The student understands the field of corporate responsibility and it’s meaning to the societal development and successful business. The student is familiar with the different components of responsibility. The student is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student is able to recognize the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. She/he can promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.
Content
Corporate responsibility. Corporate responsibility in practice. The stakeholders and their meaning in developing responsibility. Managing and organizing corporate responsibility. Ethical leadership and practices.

A personal learning assignment (individual learning assignments) and group work is processed throughout the duration of the course. Assessment of competence and course grade is based on these-specific learning assignments.
Guidance will be available during the course as follows:
Introductions to themes and learning assignments
Guidance for individual learning assignments or group work in lessons and e-learning space.
Self-assessment and group and peer review
Feedback and assessment on the group work
Personal feedback and assessment on the personal learning assignment
Exam schedules
The theme-specific learning assignments must be completed and returned during the course. Interactive and collaborative classroom sessions (discussions based on individual assignments) must be attended to in accordance with the course timetable.
Group study and classroom sessions must be attended to in accordance with the course timetable.
The personal learning assignment must be returned by 16 December 2020.
Course ends 31 December 2020.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
1 (Sufficient) The student attempts to demonstrate his/her theoretical and conceptual knowledge. Command of the subject area remains unclear. The group project planning and implementation has been only partly student-led. The group requires extensive supervision concerning many basic issues. The student fails to show a convincing ability to promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.
2 (Satisfactory) The student shows theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject at a reasonably clear level. The student demonstrates rather good understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student shows rather good knowledge of the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. The student has an obvious overall command and understanding of the subject area but fails to show a convincing ability to promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.

3 (Good) The student shows theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject at a relatively clear level. The student demonstrates good understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student shows good knowledge of the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. She/he can promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations well.
4 (Very Good) The student shows great theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject area in detail. The student demonstrates very good understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student shows great knowledge of the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. She/he can promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.

5 (Excellent) The student shows exceptional theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject area in detail. The student demonstrates exceptional understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility.
