Objectives
Student utilizes evidence based knowledge in decision making in chosen field of nursing, bearing in mind the ethical principles of nursing. Student shows ability to continuously and critically evaluate and develop her/his knowledge and skills in clinical nursing and accepts and takes responsibility for life-long learning and continuous professional development. Student masters the main clinical interventions in his/her chosen field of nursing and is able to safely utilize technology in care. Student is able to empower clients in health care to actively participate in decision making and promoting their own health.

Practical training in the chosen field of nursing (acute-medical-surgical).

Student has advanced knowledge and skills in his/her own field of nursing. Student is able to develop his/her own field of nursing with relevant methods critically. Student can evaluate his/her own skills and knowledge deeply. Student can evaluate the knowledge of his/her own field critically and innovatively. Student utilizes various information seeking technologies in retrieving, forming and communicating new knowledge in his/her own field of nursing. Student masters ethical situations utilizing innovative problem solving skills. Student masters the most common clinical interventions from his/her own expertise area applying technology to nursing. Student acts skillfully, is client oriented and culturally aware in multiprofessional teams.
Failed
The criteria for passed practice are failed.
Prerequisites
Student masters the client-centered care and main concepts and methods in social and healthcare environment. Student masters the aims and methods of nursing that promotes client`s health and functioning. Student is able to utilize evidence based knowledge in nursing decision making. Student masters methods of clinical examination of a patient and is able to determine the need and urgency of care.
