Objective

Purpose: After the course student understands the meaning of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as a tool for strategic and operative management. You understand the basics of technical architecture of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and also the information flow of the integrated information system. You are able to utilize ERP system in business process management.

Competences: Technology, Business, Knowledge and Understanding, Engineering Practice

Learning Outcome: After the course you understand the role of Enterprise Resource Planning as a tool for managing strategy and operative functions. You understand the technical principles of ERP and the meaning of purposeful data management. You understand the wholeness of ERP implementation. You are able to use and utilize ERP system to manage various business processes.

Content

The course contents of following topics: definition of Enterprise Resource Planning, benefits of ERP, technical principles of ERP, data management in ERP systems, business processes, implementation of ERP system, case trainings.
