Objective

Purpose:
‘Things I do, I do understand’ is an old way of saying. On this course you will combine theory and practice with interactive way by using different simulation games. During this course your understanding of supply chain and business entirety will increase. In addition, your ability to make decisions and work effectively as a member of team is developing.

Learning outcomes:
You understand the concept of supply chain. You recognize how a network of interdependent organizations manage the flow of materials and information from suppliers to end users. You will gain an overview of business entirety. You can co-operate effectively with team members and make timely decisions.

Concept of supply chain network, business entirety, simulation games.

Teaching methods

Distance learning and contact meetings using Zoom connections. Moodle learning environment will be used for study materials and assignments. Implementation and learning is based on learning assignments.

Exam schedules

No final exam, instead learning assignments and timetable for assignments will be informed in the beginning of the course.
