Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The assessment is carried out through restorable learning tasks.
Accepted: The student is familiar with the significance of the material selection process in product design, the stages of the selection process and is able to apply it to practice. You use reliable and wide-ranging source material.
Rejected: The student is unfamiliage with the steps in the material selection process and is unable to apply them to practice.
Qualifications
Student masters the basic terminology. He recognizes materials used in mechanical engineerig, their mechanical properties and most common applications.
Further information
Assessment is based on the learning assignments, which are done in groups.
