Objective

You will learn to understand the basics of electronics from the perspective of industry needs. You are familiar with the basic components and are familiar with resistors, capacitors, coils, diodes, transistors and operational amplifiers. You will learn to design simple basic circuits implemented with those components. You need this knowledge to outline functional entities in detail.

EUR-ACE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
You know the basics of using the basic components. You understand the operation of a transistor in actuator control and the principles of operating voltages.

Content

basic components
design and dimensioning of a passive filter
use of a transistor as a switch
use of an operational amplifier for signal scaling

Oppimateriaali ja suositeltava kirjallisuus

Teaching material in JAMK's e-learning environment.

Teaching methods

Contact teaching consists of lectures and simulation exercises. Part of the study is distance exercises and simulation exercises. Participation in contacts is in mandatory.

Exam schedules

Exam at the end of the course (end of spring 2023).
Two re-examinations in the spring of 2023.

Student workload

Contact lectures about 39 hours. 96 hours of independent work. A total of 135 hours of student work.

Further information
