Objectives

Purpose:
After completing the course, you will understand the most important concepts of the Linux operating system (Linux OS) and know how to work with and manage the operating system using a text-based user interface.

You know the fundament concepts and practices of Linux operating system and you are able to use the basic commands.

Satisfactory 2:
You understand the meaning of use rights in Linux OS and you are able to apply the use rights in the management of file systems.

Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)

Good 3:
You are able to utilize the most essential Linux OS tools and manage the programs.

Very good 4:
You understand the meaning of processes in Linux OS and you are able to manage processes and services.

Evaluation criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent 5:
You understand the meaning of user accounts and groups in Linux OS and you are able to manage the user accounts. Additionally, you are able to apply use right definitions to user accounts and groups.
