Objective

The object of this course:
In this course you will learn to recognise the strategic targets of the organisation and procurement. You identify the cost, risk and value in purchasing management. In addition you begin to understand the Basic tools of purchasing management and recognise the impact of purchasing to the organisations sustainability targets.

Teaching methods

Opintojakso on päivisin tapahtuva lähiopetus, joka sisältää luentoja, itseopiskelua (kirjallisuus ja oppimistehtävät), pienryhmätyöskentelyä (tuntityöskentely) ja käytännön projekteja (oppimistehtävät).

The basics of purchasing. Student is able to find information idependently and to prepare reports. They have basic knowledge of the logistics processes.
