Objective
Purpose
Transport Management is one of the key business processes of supply chain. By Transport Management Systems you can manage transports, improve service and reduce cost whilst reducing environmental impact. By measuring, analyzing, and continuously improving transport management you can affect goods availability for customers and customer satisfaction. By managing and controlling transports, you can proactively react for better customer need fulfillment.
During the course you will learn basics of Transport Management and meaning of basic concepts of Transport Management Systems. Course will also help to understand basics of logistics network and monitoring of results. After the course you will have a perspective to transport management tasks.

Learning outcome
After completing this course, you will know the principles of Transport Management Systems. You will be able to apply how to plan and execute transports in global logistics network. You will understand how to control transports in Transport Management Systems. You will also understand to how Transport Management Systems is connected to companies’ other systems.
