Objective
Purpose
Do you know how to plan logistics center or extension to current one? Which kind of things you have to decide and take into account? Intralogistics planning course gives answers to these questions. You learn to think planning from persons, money, functions and safety point of view.

Learning outcome
By completing this course, you will understand how to do calculations and analysis of the planning. You will also know how to do layout planning and choose reasonable technologies and estimate needed amount of personnel. You can also do cost calculations of the planning project and take issues relating to planning, e.g. sustainability and safety, into account.

Teaching methods
Opintojakso rakentuu ryhmissä tehtävän logistiikkakeskuksen suunnittelun varaan. Toteutus on ensisijaisesti monimuoto-opiskelijoille suunnattu verkkototeutus, joka ei sisällä yhteisiä kontakteja, mutta suunnitteluun saa apua ja palautetta opettajalta.

Student workload
