Objectives

You master the mathematical modeling and simulation of dynamic systems. You can apply what you have learned, e.g. electrical and control systems and mechatronics.

Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Adequate 1: You are familiar with the concepts and principles, involved in mathematical modeling of dynamic systems, but you have difficulty putting what you have learned into practice.

Satisfactory 2: You master mathematical modeling of dynamic systems satisfactorily. However, there are shortcomings in its application.

Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)

Good 3: You will master the basics of mathematical modeling of dynamic systems and be able to apply what you have learned to the basic applications.

Very good 4: You master the mathematical modeling of dynamic systems with commendability and are able to apply what you have learned to the example applications covered in the course.

Evaluation criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent 5: You have excellent control of mathematical modeling of dynamic systems and are able to creatively apply what you have learned to new applications.

Prerequisites

Adequate math skills in equations, functions, derivative and integral.
