Objective
You will learn how to create simple documents using CAD software and you will understand technical documentation practices. The skills learned in this course will be needed later in other professional courses.
EUR-ACE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
You will become familiar working in a CAD environment and you understand good and effective practices of drafting technical documents.
EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You can use engineering software to produce technical documents effectively.

Teaching methods
The author has to solve different kinds of problems related to production of the CAD documents. You constantly have to make decisions about the details of the work. Therefore, problem-based learning is used as a learning method. Learning takes place through independently fulfilled and returned learning tasks. The completion of learning tasks is guided by video instructions and during the contact lessons.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
To pass this course you must demonstrate that you master the basic CAD drawing skills at a level required by your studies and working life. You have basic knowledge of CAD drawing and editing. You can take advantage of different layers and layout structures. You are able to create and edit blocks with attribute texts.
