Objective

The theme of practical training 1 is working life practices and safety at work. The objective is that the student is able to work as a member of a work community, understand the general practices of working life, and
recognise the safety requirements at work and take them into account in their own work.

Content

Completing a practical training involves a period of work in the workplace and reporting back to the school on the tasks and learning objectives. The duration of the practical training must be at least 7 calendar weeks in the case of full-time work five days a week. The practical training is broadly open to all jobs in the logistics sector and there are no specific requirements for the workplace. In addition, non-logistical jobs are also accepted for the first practical training. The first practical training can also be accredited with previous work experience acquired before the start of the studies.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The completed practical training report will be evaluated on a pass/fail scale. The approved report must comply with the reporting guidelines.
