Objective

The purpose of the course is to provide you with tools for supervising and assessing your students in both individual and group teaching. You will learn how to plan teaching and assess the achievement of objectives. You will become familiar with the principles of assessment and different assessment methods and develop your own approach to supervision.

Exploring your approach to supervision through digital tools.

Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 9.00-15.00;

Teaching methods

The purpose of the study course is for you to get tools to guide and evaluate your own as well as individual ones in group teaching. You will learn how to guide teaching and evaluate assignments. Familiarize yourself with and evaluate assessment methods and you will develop your own guidance time.

The prerequisite for participation in Supervision and assessment course is the completion of the study courses Teaching as a profession and Learning and curricula.

Student workload

The implementation of the course consists of:
Classroom learning 40 h
Independent work 95 h

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is familiar with the points of departure and methods associated with supervision and assessment and is able to explain what they mean in their own teaching.
The student is able to interact with others in an ethically responsible manner and communicate in a way that is conducive to the meeting of learning objectives.
The student is able to realistically assess their own practices as a teacher and set themself new goals.
The student is able to evaluate the suitability of digital tools for supervision and assessment activities.

Further information

During the study period and in different stages of this course you give and receive peer feedback. At the end of the course, you do a self-assessment. The trainer gives feedback and makes an evaluation decision based on the evaluation criteria.
