Objective
In this course you will learn the basics of health promotion. The goals are that you can define health and health promotion, you are aware of health promotion at global level, and you know basic elements of health promoting diet and physical activity.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed:
The student is able to define the basics concepts of health and health promotion. The student is aware of main risk factors for health. The is aware of how health is promoted at global level through programmes and strategies. The student can recognize basic elements of health promoting diet and physical activity and is familiar with nutrition and physical activity recommendations.
Fail:
The student does not show enough competence in the above stated areas.
