The object of the course:
Upon completion of the course you are able to identify the different aspects of sport event management process and understand the key concepts of sport events.

Learning objectives of the course:
You will be able to critically review, analyze and understand information available from academic and professional business sources in sport event management field. You can comprehend the different stages of event organizing; the bid process, event planning, event hosting and post-event. You can understand the value creation process in sport event.

Content

The course covers sport event management key concepts, event planning stages, bidding process, the concept of event impacts and legacies, value creation process in sport events, challenges in organising major and mega sport events and event research aspects.

Exam at the end of the course. Retake possible one week after the exam date.
