Objective
The student is able to utilise the ready-made components of AutoCAD Mechanical software in design and use dimensioning commands when preparing 2D drawings that contain dimensional and geometrical tolerances, working symbols, welding symbols and parts lists.
EA-EE EUR-ACE: Engineering design
The student is capable of reading drawings and preparing unambiguous workshop drawings of products. The student is capable of producing workshop and assembly drawings using a CAD system.
TKNSU: Competence in design: The students are able to make drawings required by production and implement their designs.
YHTTY: The course prepares the students for working in assisting design tasks.
YHTVI: Communication skills: Students are able to attach drawings and technical documents to their assignments and theses.

Description methods, projections, dimensioning and other markings and attaching markings to CAD drawings.

Teaching methods
The course is an independent nonstop course. The use of the program and the completion of the exercises are guided by videos. The assignments are returned to the learning platform.

Utilising the features of AutoCAD Mechanical software in preparing unambiguous manufacturing drawings. Return learning assignments.
