Objective
Course is an important part of the basic studies related to Physical Education and Physiotherapy.
As a participant of this course, you will concern yourself to the Physiology of a healthy human body as well as to the basic components of Exercise Physiology such as, training and assessment of different fields of physical fitness.
When you have passed this course, you`ll understand how the healthy human body behaves during different situations in life and you will be equipped with tools that you will need in the later phases of your studies as well as in the working life.
Learning outcomes:
You are able to analyze functioning and limitations, specially locomotive ability.
You understand the basic concepts related to Physiology and Exercise Physiology
You are able to define the structures and functions of the important organs and maintenance systems of the human body during rest and exercise.
You are able to explain the basic functions and capacities of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and their relationship to Physical Fitness and training.
You understand how these maintenance systems are controlled and how they interact during Physical activity.
Competences:
Assessment Competence
Guidance And Counselling Competence
Therapy Competence
Internationality skills

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)
Adequate 1:
Your information consists of loose, though relevant, details. In a written or written exam, your answers are incomplete and the answers are uncertain. Responses to summaries and conclusions in the responses are searching / scarce. Lack of content management.
Satisfying 2:
Your information consists of relevant details. In a written or written exam you will be able to produce more content and your knowledge is generally acceptable. Responses can detect relevant but authoritative content. Weaknesses in entity management.
Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4)
Good 3:
Have good knowledge, skills and justify your answer. You are trying to combine data from different sources. In a written or written exam, the answers are fluent and correct in content. In your answers, you demonstrate the ability to describe and justify the content with the correct terminology, and the knowledge of the content is sufficient.
Very good 4:
Your extensive knowledge, skills and well-reasoned answer. You combine well the information from different sources. In a written or written exam, the answers are fluent and comprehensive. In your answers, you demonstrate the ability to describe and justify content with the right terminology and have a good knowledge of the content.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Exellent 5:
You have a great amount of knowledge, skills and reasoning from different perspectives. In an oral or written exam, the answers are fluent and comprehensive. You use the correct terminology in your answers and the content knowledge is extensive.
