Objective

Purpose of the course:
The knowledge and skills from this course enable you to calculate material quantities for a construction project and, after pricing, prepare a bid and a work schedule for the project.

You can calculate quantities from existing plans, transfer the quantities to a quotation calculation program and price them according to the types of work and materials using the House nomenclature in the transcription. You can make a quotation after calculating quantities and pricing. You can identify the different schedule types of a construction project and you can choose the most suitable one for the object to be used and make a schedule accordingly using scheduling software. You can utilize data models in quantity calculation. These are also the basic tasks of the course.

Content

Quantity calculation for a construction project, transferring quantities to the quotation calculation program, pricing of work types and materials, and making a quotation. Transcribing work phases according to the House nomenclature. Different types of schedules for a construction project.
