After completing the course
-you can critically reflect and goal-oriented develop your own professional skills as a (clinical) expert.

-you know how to utilize and share your own expertise in a wide range of different cooperation networks

- becomes aware of the professional and ethical responsibility related to expertise in the development of mental health and substance abuse work

-develops his professional identity as a clinical expert in a targeted manner

Strengthening professional identity and own competence profile

Reflectivity, reflection skills and self-reflection and

The course will take the form of thematic webinars and various assignments in the period 23.8.2024-3.5.2026 (2-3 webinars / semester)

Hyväksytty: Opiskelija reflektoi omaa ammatillista osaamistaan, tunnistaa osaamisen kehittämisen mahdollisuuksia ja pohtii tavoitteita omalle ammatillisen identiteetin kehittämiselle kliinisenä asiantuntijana. Opiskelija tunnistaa yhteistyöverkostoja ja osaa arvioida kuinka voi hyödyntää ja jakaa omaa osaamistaan niissä. Opiskelija pohtii mielenterveys- ja päihdetyön kehittämisen mahdollisuuksia ja osaa arvioida sekä perustella omaa kehittämistoimintaansa ammatillisesti ja eettisesti vastuullisesti. Opintojakson kirjallisissa tehtävissä opiskelija osoittaa kykyä pohtia opintojaksoon liittyviä keskeisiä sisältöjä kirjoittaen lähteisiin perustuvaa asiantuntijatekstiä.

Further information

The course is a part of deepening Mental health - and addiction care Master´s degree -studies and it cannot be studied separately.

The education requirement for these studies is a nurse, public health nurse, paramedic or midwife.

The university of applied sciences responsible for organizing the course is responsible for implementing and evaluating the course.
