Objective
Objectives:
· Mastering educational cooperation basics, techniques and operating methods in early childhood education.
- Understanding the everyday lives of families and parenthood and knowing the significance of these in terms of supporting the well-being of children.
· Being able to implement educational cooperation, interact with different parents and support their participation in educational cooperation.
· Understanding the starting points and significance of multidisciplinary cooperation in supporting children and families and being able to operate in multidisciplinary networks.
- Being familiar with the key services provided for families with children and mastering service guidance.
- Understanding the goals and tasks of the roles of bachelors of social services and welfare officers in early childhood education and being able to support the balanced development of children, learning and parenthood.

Contents:
· The starting points, forms and methods of educational cooperation
· Everyday life and parenthood in families with children
· Support for parenthood and participation in educational cooperation
· Support for children’s well-being and learning together with guardians
· Transdisciplinary co-operation
· Services for families with children and service guidance
· The tasks and goals of the roles of bachelors of social services and welfare officers in early childhood education

The course will take place in the spring semester 2025 both as webinars and face-to-face teaching at the campus

Completion alternatives
You can apply for admission on the basis of previous equivalent higher education studies (content/objectives/extent), perhepolku- training or previous work experience of at least one year (12 months) (early childhood education teacher/specialist). Discuss your qualifications with your tutor and, if necessary, submit an e-application at least two weeks before the start of the course.
