Tavoitteet

Student has knowledge of promoting family health in different stages of life, recognizing and considering variety within families. Student is able to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based culturally sensitive family nursing care. Student is able to apply the knowledge of sexual- and reproductive health in family nursing. Student understands the effect of community on an individual and family, and is able to assess environmental risks in the community.

The student demonstrates his/her comprehensive and extensive knowledge in promoting health in families and communities, implementing family nursing process in a culturally sensitive manner. The student masters extensive knowledge of basics of sexual- and reproductive health. S/he is able to critically analyze his/her knowledge base showing creative thinking. The student is able to solve the learning assignments using evidence-based multidisciplinary knowledge extensively in a developing manner.

Excellent (4)
The student demonstrates his/her comprehensive knowledge of promoting health in families and communities, implementing family nursing process in a culturally sensitive manner. The student masters comprehensive knowledge of basics of sexual- and reproductive health. S/he is able to critically analyze his/her knowledge base. The student is able to solve the learning assignments using evidence-based multidisciplinary knowledge extensively in a developing manner.

Good (3)
The student demonstrates his/her basic knowledge of promoting health in families and communities, implementing family nursing process considering cultural sensitivity. The student masters basic knowledge of sexual- and reproductive health. S/he is able to analyze his/her knowledge base. The student is able to solve the learning assignments using evidence-based multidisciplinary knowledge in a developing manner.

Satisfactory(2)
The student demonstrates his/her sufficient knowledge of promoting health in families and communities and implementing family nursing process recognizing cultural aspects. The student masters partially the basic knowledge of sexual- and reproductive health. S/he is able to analyze his/her knowledge base. The student is able to solve the learning assignments using evidence-based knowledge.

Poor (1)
The student demonstrates his/her meager knowledge of promoting health in families and communities,implementing family nursing process. The student masters partially the basic knowledge of sexual- and reproductive health. S/he analyzes his/her knowledge base inadequately. The student is able to solve the learning assignments.

Esitietovaatimukset

Student masters the basic knowledge and interventions of health promotion, preventive nursing and public health nursing. Student is familiar with the stages of human growth and development (physical, psychosocial and cognitive)and human life span.
