Objective

Course Purpose:
In this course, you will develop your competence in supporting learners in the development of their career planning skills. You will explore career planning as a set of learnable skills and gain an understanding of their significance. You will be equipped to support learners on their individual paths and in making educational and career-related decisions.

- Changes in working life and their impact on competence, vocational education, and individuals’ life planning and decision-making
- Career planning skills as learnable skills
- Career planning during life transitions and change situations
- Career planning skills and legislation related to vocational education
- The teacher’s role in the development of career planning skills
- The construction of learners’ vocational and competence identity and guidance for individual learning paths
