Objective

The student knows the basic concepts, approaches and methods of family and community nursing. He/she understands the importance of empowerment in the health promotion of families and communities. The student is able to utilize evidence- based decision making in family and community nursing. He/she has competence in promoting the health of families before and after childbirth and masters the essential nursing interventions at different stages of the nursing process.

Excellent (5) The student is able to demonstrate basic knowledge in evidence-based manner in family and community nursing as well as in maternity nursing. He/she is able to critically analyze his/her knowledge base showing creative thinking.
The student is able to solve learning tasks of family and community nursing and of maternity nursing in a developing manner and by creating new working methods. The learning tasks related to family and community nursing and to maternity nursing are logical and he/she justifies family and community and maternity nursing topics in an excellent and consistent manner.

The student is able to demonstrate basic knowledge in evidence-based manner in family and community nursing as well as in maternity nursing. He/she is able to critically analyze them.
