The student
 - knows the significance of national and international strategies of health promotion and well being for the reduction of health inequalities and marginalization
 - understands the key concepts and knowledge base of health promotion
 - is able to discuss about the health promotion determinants and priorities with emphasis on health inequalities and public health
 - recognizes the needs for change considering nutrition and physical activity.

- The value basis and framework of health promotion.
 - The national and international (WHO, EU) strategies, recommendations and programmes in health promotion.
 - Reduction of health inequalities and prevention of marginalization.
 - Determinants of health and well being and priorities of health promotion: nutrition, physical activity and social relationships.
