Objective

The students identify and take into account the factors influencing a systems operation and support during its life. They are able to estimate the availability, reliability and life- cycle cost of a simple system. They understand the significance of systems engineering in design and development.

Content

Analysis of system life-cycle phases. Technical and operational effectiveness. Reliability, maintainability and supportability. Life-cycle cost.
