Kehitän osaamistani hankkimalla tietoa (luennot, verkko-opiskelu, verkkokurssit) opintojakson oppimissisällöistä, työskentelemällä itsenäisesti (ja pienryhmissä) tehden opintojaksoon sisältyviä tehtäviä, verkkokursseja ja osaamista kartoittavia tietotestejä.
Methods of completion
I will demonstrate my competence by means of learning tasks and tests (online course certificates, computer tests, successful completion of a nursing report and a course exam), which will help me to assess and demonstrate my own competence.
Content
- Key concepts in nursing and the nursing relationship. - Principles of nursing and evidence-based good care: including infection control, basic ergonomics and rehabilitative nursing. - Ethical and legal responsibilities in nursing (confidentiality, data protection) as part of patient safety. - Structured record keeping in line with the decision-making process. - Basic patient needs and vital signs, related nursing activities and methods of monitoring and observation (ABCDE basics) and communication (including ISBAR basics, NEWS scoring).

Teaching methods
Itsenäinen verkko-opiskelu Moodlealustalla (verkkotehtävät, tietotestit jne). Pakolliset suoritukset on kuvattu Moodle-alustalla. Suorituksiin sisältyy verkkotentti.

Varsinainen tentti on juuri ennen Sairaanhoitotyön perusharjoitelun alkamista - uusinta- ja korotustentit suoritetaan Examissa arviointisäännön mukaisesti
Completion alternatives
Jos opiskelijalla on muussa ammattikorkeakoulussa suoritettuna vastavat opinnot, opintojakso voidaan hyväksilukea HOT-anomuksen ja todistusliitteiden perusteella
