Objective
The student knows how to define the key concepts of sexuality and their significance for individual well-being. The student knows how to act in their work and daily life with respect for sexual rights. The student is familiar with sexual rights and their significance in society. The student can explain the concepts of sexuality, its expression, and gender diversity, and recognize and appreciate sexual orientation and gender diversity. The student is familiar with the development and expression of sexuality at different stages of life and knows that sexuality is part of the entire human life cycle. The student recognizes forms of sexual violence and its effects on individuals and knows how to guide people to appropriate services. The student develops the skills to address, discuss, and evaluate issues related to sexuality as a healthcare professional.

Teaching methods
The course is completed online, in the Moodle learning environment, independently at your own pace during the course implementation period. Students study the course materials and complete online assignments according to the instructions given. The course requires independent work and systematic planning of the study schedule.
Employer connections
This course does not involve working life cooperation and/or RDI.
Exam schedules
The learning environment (Moodle) will remain open until the end date of the course (see schedule), and all assignments must be completed before the learning environment closes.
Student workload
The workload of the course is calculated so that, in order to achieve the learning outcomes of the course, one credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of student work. The actual time required varies from person to person, dependent on factors such as prior knowledge. Five (5) credits correspond to 135 hours of student work.
