The student is able to - analyse and assess risks for the development of a child and adolescent and their social impact on the growth and living conditions of children, youth and families - explain the meaning of early support and intervention in preventive child welfare - identify areas of parenting and assess needs for early intervention and support for parenting - apply practices of early support in different work environments - know the possibilities of the third sector in supporting families with children

Teaching methods
100 % verkkokurssi (Moodle) - opintojakson Moodle avautuu tehtäviin orientoitumista ja tutustumista varten 1.6.2026, klo 12 - opintojaksolle täytyy kirjautua 5.6.2026 mennessä, jotta opintojakson voi suorittaa - tehtävien palautusalustat avautuvat 1.6.2026 ja sulkeutuvat 31.7.2026 klo 23:55 jolloin opintojakson opiskelu päättyy - opintojakson tehtävien arviointi ja arvosanojen tallennus 28.8.2026 mennessä.
Completion alternatives
AHOT aiempien opintojen perusteella: Opintojaksosta on mahdollista hakea joko osittaista tai kokonaisahotointia, jos olet suorittanut ammattikorkeakoulutasoisia (=EQF 6/amk-taso) lapsiperhetyön opintoja. Vertaa suorittamasi opintojakson sisältöjä ja oppimistavoitteita Savonian lapsiperhetyön opetussuunnitelman osaamistavoitteisiin.
