Evaluation methods and criteria
Assessment criterion, pass/fail: Pass = The student has achieved the competence objectives of the study unit. The student is able to describe factors influencing the welfare society and the effects of population ageing on society. The student identifies the objectives of ageing policy at national and international levels. The student has completed all tasks in the study unit in accordance with the instructions. Fail = The student has not achieved the competence objectives of the study unit. The student has not completed, in accordance with the instructions, the tasks required for a pass in the study unit.

Content scheduling
Studying takes place on the Moodle platform. Moodle is divided into six modules. The themes of the modules are: 1. Start here (study unit information) 2. The welfare state 3. Population ageing 4. Ageing policy 5. Conceptions of age 6. Final assignment
Objective
The student - is able to describe the factors influencing the development and current state of the welfare society - is able to describe the impacts of population ageing as a societal phenomenon - identifies the objectives of national and international ageing policy
