Basics of motor learning and their application in a physiotherapist's work.

Intended learning outcome of the course:

You know how to communicate clearly, precisely, comprehensibly and effectively in skills teaching situations. You can assess the preconditions of and challenges to motor learning and analyse the client's mobility and the factors related to it from the perspective of motor learning. You understand the principles of motor learning in teaching skills and providing feedback. You know how to apply your knowledge of different learners as required by the situation when they are practising new skills.

Basics of motor learning; practising a new skill, guiding different learners and giving feedback as part of guidance.

You know how to describe and use your knowledge of motor learning when teaching skills, giving feedback and guiding different learners. You can describe the principles of motor learning in all age groups from childhood to older people and apply what you have learned in guidance situations.

Group work is compulsory and everyone must work on an equal footing
