Tavoitteet

The objective of the track is to equip you with concepts, methods and tools needed in innovation management including but not limited to product, service or process development. In particular the track focuses on Innovation Management. Emphasizing practical, evidence based techniques, methods and introducing relevant tools and resources, this course provides you with the knowledge base to successfully manage innovation, technology, and new product development. The holistic approach addresses the interplay between the markets, ecosystems, technology, and the organization, while relating the unique skill set required to manage innovation and innovation processes. The course offers also possibility to explore advanced topics including User-centered design (UCD) and User-centered innovation (UCI) as well as Open Innovation (OI).

Opetusmenetelmät

Ensisijainen toteutustapa on yhdistelmä lähiopetusta ja luentoja. Lähiopetus syventää oppimista tutoriaalien, yksilö- ja ryhmätyöskentelyn, reflektion ja ohjauksen muodossa.


Kurssille osallistuminen on pakollista. Osallistujien on saavutettava vähintään 80 %:n läsnäoloprosentti kurssin läpäisemiseksi.

Harjoittelu- ja työelämäyhteistyö

Saattaa olla merkityksellistä, jos opiskelija päättää sopia opinnäytetyön aiheesta tai analysoi harjoittelun aikana tai työelämäyhteyden kautta kerättyä (primaarinen aineisto) tai saatua (toissijainen aineisto) aineistoa opinnäytetyöhön liittyvää tutkimusta varten.

Kansainvälisyys

Kurssi on avoinna kaksoistutkinto-opiskelijoille ja ulkomailla opiskeleville JAMKin yhteistyökorkeakouluista ympäri maailmaa. Kurssiin osallistuu merkittävästi JAMKin kansainvälisen tiedekunnan lisäopettaja.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

Yleensä kurssin suorittamiseen ei ole muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin tämän toteutuksen jatkuva online-tila. Aiemman oppimisen tunnustaminen voidaan myöntää vain poikkeuksellisissa olosuhteissa, ja luennoitsijan harkinnan mukaan hyväksytään tällaiset järjestelyt. Käytännössä kurssista vastaava luennoitsija ei ole toistaiseksi myöntänyt tunnustusta aiemmasta oppimisesta.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

Luennot, työpajat, seminaarit 40 t virtuaaliopetusta 20 t opinnäytetyöprojekti 30 t tehtäviä 22 t itsenäistä opiskelua 20 t Yhteensä 132 tuntia.
