Objective

Aim of the course is to learn to adapt current applied methods of Design Thinking to problem solving in students own field. Students learn to co-create new user-centric solutions in real business context and challenge traditional project working and thinking patterns.

Content

Design Thinking methods from all five main areas: Emphasize, define, ideate, prototype and test are analyzed, applied and used in a real life problem solving context.

Student workload

Total 135, consisting of - 45 hrs co-creation & other in-class activities - 90 hrs individual, pair and group activities

50% active, creative and reflecting participation, evaluation of own competence

50% demonstrated skill to recognize and develop individual capability to creatively resolve problems and create new solutions. Processing and reporting key co-creation project

Qualifications

Project experience, group working skills, understanding of your own professional field, ability to reflect and analyse one's own learning and skills
