Objective
The aim of the course is advancing the theoretical knowledge studied in the module by participating in work in the field of rehabilitation. On this course you will focus on planning and carrying out rehabilitation in multidisciplinary cooperation.

Intended learning outcome:
Operating in a workplace: You know how to act constructively and promote co-operation in rehabilitation networks as well as reflect on your actions. You are adept at using use digital solutions in multidisciplinary networking.
Rehabilitation planning: You know how to plan rehabilitation processes based on the client's needs together with the client, their family members and a multidisciplinary network of actors. You are able to see these plans as a whole. You are aware of the organisers and providers as well as funding of rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation service system competence: You know how to draw on up-to-date information on the service system and legislation. You are aware of the impacts of rehabilitation costs at the level of individuals and society.
Content
The key content of the course comprises the rehabilitation process and multidisciplinary co-operation. You will learn about drawing up rehabilitation plans and working as a member of a multidisciplinary cooperation network. In addition, you will examine possibilities, service providers and support forms of rehabilitation that are essential for the client. You will reflect on your actions as a network member and practise taking on the role of a rehabilitation specialist.
Location and time
The internship takes place in a place chosen by the student that supports their career plan and professional development during the spring semester.
Teaching methods
The course is implemented in a real working life community as practical training. In addition, the internship includes independent work in an online learning environment and participation in reflective small group activities.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
You are able to describe methods that promote co-operation in a multidisciplinary network. You identify factors that affect co-operation in your actions. You know how to use digital tools.
You are able to present the multidisciplinary implementation of a rehabilitation process based on the client's needs as a whole. You are able to describe the organisers and providers as well as funding of rehabilitation.
You are able to describe information on the service system and legislation that is relevant to the rehabilitation process. You are able to describe the impacts of rehabilitation costs at the level of individuals and society.
Qualifications
You know how to assess rehabilitation needs and possibilities and guide clients in rehabilitation processes. You have familiarised yourself with the rehabilitation process, planning of rehabilitation, the service system and documentation. You master the principles and theoretical premises of multidisciplinary work.
