Objective
You plan, implement, and evaluate client-centered, safe care/services as part of a multidisciplinary team in gerontological nursing. You apply the knowledge base of gerontological nursing while considering the opportunities provided by the client's environment. You utilize evidence-based information in nursing decision-making and take ethical and professional responsibility for your work and its impact.
You are motivated to work in homelike environments within gerontological nursing, addressing the individual physical, psychological, social, and existential needs of clients comprehensively under guidance. You harness the possibilities of technology and digitalization in homelike settings. You critically reflect on your own competence and its development.

The course covers evidence-based nursing content areas, particularly focusing on care, service, and guidance for the elderly. Key areas of examination in the course include good practices within a homelike environment and functioning as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
