Objective

The student knows the key services and information systems that are involved in the health care and social services sector. Student knows the related legislation, and health care and social services sector programmes and guidelines. Student understands the nurses role in multidisciplinary teams and networks. Student recognizes the factors that affect changes in the health care and social services sector.

Relevant legislation in Finland (Social welfare act, Healthcare act, Social and healthcare services organization act), health care and social services sector programmes and guidelines.
Cross-border social and healthcare in EU
Content, organization, production, financing, counseling, decision-making and recommendations of social and healthcare services
