Objective
The aim of the course is to strengthen the student's research, development and innovation (RDI) competence by working practically as part of an international or national project. The student learns to utilise RDI methods and tools and to develop project management, communication and cooperation skills in a multidisciplinary and possibly international environment.
Competencies:
You can apply the principles and methods of research, development and innovation in working life-oriented project activities in either a national or international context.
You understand the importance of research ethics and sustainable development in RDI activities and you can take these into account in RDI work.
You can utilise project management tools and plan measures in line with the project's objectives.
You understand the importance of communication and stakeholder cooperation in project activities and you can communicate clearly and goal-orientedly.
Prerequisites:
The student must have a basic understanding of the basics of RDI activities and project work (e.g. a lower bachelor's degree or equivalent competence).
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Approved student
Actively participates in the implementation of the project and demonstrates commitment to the project goals and cooperation with the team and stakeholders.
Knows how to apply RDI methods and principles in practice.
Communicates in a goal-oriented and professional manner, utilizing appropriate communication channels and terminology appropriate to the target group.
Takes into account research ethics and sustainable development perspectives in project work.
Reflects on what has been learned realistically and demonstrates the ability to apply the learned skills in future working life situations.
Failed, student
Does not participate sufficiently in the implementation of the project or repeatedly fails to complete tasks.
Does not demonstrate understanding of the principles of RDI and is unable to apply them in practice.
Communication is inadequate, unprofessional or project stakeholders do not receive essential information in a timely manner.
Ignores the requirements of research ethics and sustainable development in the planning or implementation of the project.
Does not demonstrate the ability to reflect on their own learning or apply it in working life.
